It is said that digital recording will not deteriorate, but can the data recorded on DVD be permanently saved?

Basically, it has the ability to withstand decades of storage, but it is not permanent.
We have confirmed that DVDs can withstand decades of storage in a general environment and usage under good recording conditions through environmental tests established by us. However, the shelf life varies greatly depending on how it is handled and used. Note that the fact that the digital recording does not deteriorate means that there is no deterioration of the data when copying the recorded data, and it does not mean that the disc on which the information is recorded is physically deteriorated.
