What is the difference between recordable DVDs

Recordable DVDs include DVD-R and DVD + R, which can record data only once, and DVD-RAM, DVD-RW, and DVD + RW, which can be rewritten and erased. R is an acronym for Recordable and RW is an acronym for ReWritable. RAM is an acronym for Randam Access Memory.
