Recording with an audio CD conforms to the recording method of a music CD, so after recording, the data dedicated to playback is closed. Therefore, after that, even if the total capacity is not used up, additional recording will not be possible.
There are two types of data CD recording methods, one is mainly used for data distribution by writing all the data you want to record on the CD at once and closing it. The other type is a method of recording data little by little like a floppy disk, and is mainly used for personal backup. With this method, data can be added if there is free space on the disk until the closing process is performed.
