As a leading manufacturer of battery products, Maxell today announced the launch of its all-new manganese battery series for customer – the Super Power Ace and Power Ace. This redesigned packaging aligns the look and feel with alkaline (GD) batteries, enhancing visibility.

The manganese batteries are mercury and cadmium-free, making them more environmentally friendly. They also offer a more cost-effective solution compared to alkaline, while still meeting performance needs for applications such as clocks, remote controls, flashlights, and portable radios.

The Super Power Ace manganese batteries are available in a range of common sizes – D, C, AA, AAA, and 9V – with voltage ratings from 1.5V to 9V. These batteries have an open-circuit voltage of 0 to 0.22V and can operate within a temperature range of -10°C to +50°C.

The higher-end black Manganese Battery series offers the best performance, followed by the standard red Manganese Battery series. Both the black and red Manganese Battery series share the same technical specifications as the Super Power Ace, but the black series is available in all sizes while the red series is only offered in D, C, and AA.

Separately, the blue Power Ace manganese batteries, which have the lowest performance of the three lines, are offered solely in the D size.

This variety of manganese battery options – across the high-performance black Manganese Battery, standard red Manganese Battery, and entry-level Power Ace lines – provides customers with ample choice to meet their specific power requirements.
