• No inkjet-printed lot number on the battery surface.

New Release of Design Featuring Maxell’s “UDⅡ” Cassette Tape has been adopted to UNIQLO’s “UT” Collection

We at Maxell have recently identified counterfeit CR2032 lithium coin batteries circulating in the market. After conducting thorough testing at our headquarters in Japan, we confirmed that these counterfeit products deliver significantly lower performance and pose serious risks to both devices and users.

Our tests revealed that the counterfeit batteries offer only about half the capacity of our genuine CR2032 batteries. Specifically, while our authentic product delivers a capacity of 220mAh, the counterfeit versions measured only 140mAh and 124mAh, respectively.

The higher-end Premium Digital XL offers the best performance, followed by the standard Alkaline (GD) Battery. Both the Digital XL and Alkaline (GD) Battery series contain 0% mercury and 0% cadmium. The production process is environmentally friendly.
